Halloween is just around the corner, and if you are planning to spend the last weekend of October in Budapest, there are plenty of parties and events to choose from. Whether you are looking for a big Halloween club night, a themed party with a costume competition, a more glamorous evening out, or a proper electronic music rave, you will find different options across the city.

Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, in 2026, so many of the biggest events will take place that night. However, there are also parties happening on Friday, October 30, which is worth keeping in mind if you are planning a full weekend in Budapest.

Here are some of the Halloween parties in Budapest worth checking out this year!

1. ISSA Halloween Madness at Akvárium Klub

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026

Time: 23:00–05:00

Location: Akvárium Klub, Erzsébet tér 12, 1051 Budapest

If you are looking for a big Halloween party in the city centre, ISSA Halloween Madness is one of the events to keep an eye on. The International Halloween Party has become an established event in Budapest, attracting an international crowd and offering a proper late-night party atmosphere.

Akvárium Klub is located right in the heart of Budapest, at Erzsébet tér, making it easy to combine the party with drinks or dinner elsewhere in the city before heading inside.

The advertised ticket tiers were listed as sold out, so check the ticket page for any newly released tickets or other availability before making plans.

2. La Siesta Halloween Party

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026

Time: 19:00–05:00

Location: La Siesta Budapest, Kazinczy utca 52/B, Budapest

La Siesta is another option if you want to spend Halloween dancing and enjoying the nightlife in Budapest. Located in the Jewish Quarter, it is well placed for anyone who wants to explore the city's popular nightlife area.

The Halloween party is advertised to include a costume competition, with prizes for the best outfits, so this is a good opportunity to get creative with your Halloween costume.

Ticket prices were advertised between 3,990 and 7,990 HUF, depending on the ticket type. Some cheaper tickets have arrival deadlines, so check the conditions carefully before purchasing.

3. Heaven Meets Hell at Mitico Budapest

Date: Friday, October 30, 2026

Time: 20:00–04:00

Location: Mitico Budapest, Kazinczy utca 47, 1075 Budapest

If you would rather start your Halloween celebrations on Friday night, Heaven Meets Hell is another event to consider.

As the name suggests, the theme revolves around heaven and hell, making it a fun opportunity to dress up as an angel, a devil, or something completely different. If you enjoy themed parties and want to get into the Halloween spirit before Saturday, this could be a good choice.

The early tickets, advertised at 4,500 HUF, were sold out, while standard tickets were listed at 5,500 HUF.

4. The Gay Halloween Party at Vörös Neon

Date: Friday, October 30, 2026

Time: 22:00–04:00

Location: Vörös Neon, Dob utca 1, 1074 Budapest

For something a little different, The Gay Halloween Party, organised by BLO and Vörös Neon, is worth checking out.

The event is advertised as a queer-friendly Halloween night featuring drag performances, live entertainment and DJs. It offers a more expressive and alternative take on Halloween, making it a good option if you enjoy creative costumes and a lively party atmosphere.

Vörös Neon is located in the Jewish Quarter, so you can easily combine the evening with dinner or drinks nearby.

5. VIBE Budapest Halloween Weekend

Dates: Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, 2026

Advertised time: 18:00–02:00

Location: VIBE Budapest

If you prefer a more glamorous evening out, VIBE Budapest is worth considering. Rather than a traditional club night, VIBE combines dining, live music, DJs, dance performances and a more upscale atmosphere.

The advertised programme starts with live music at 18:00, followed by DJs from 23:00. This makes it an option for those who want to dress up, enjoy dinner and drinks, and continue the evening with music and dancing.

Reservations are available through the venue's booking page. Check the current Halloween programme and reservation details before visiting, as the advertised schedule may vary.

6. Hardcore Halloween Arena

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026

Time: 22:00–04:00

Location: Magyar Vasúttörténeti Park, Tatai utca 95, Budapest

If you prefer electronic music and a bigger rave atmosphere, Hardcore Halloween Arena is another option for Halloween night.

The event is advertised under the name ORIENT and promises a darker, horror-themed setting for fans of harder electronic music. It is a different experience from the usual bars and clubs in the city centre, so remember to plan your transport to and from the venue.

Standard tickets were listed from 6,490 HUF, although some cheaper ticket tiers were already sold out. A special costume ticket was also advertised, with the requirement that you wear a Halloween costume.

7. Gőz Klub Halloween Party

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026

Time: 16:00–23:30

Location: Gőz Klub, Csepel, Budapest

Not everyone wants to spend Halloween dancing until five in the morning, and if you prefer something more relaxed, the Gőz Klub Halloween Party could be worth looking into.

This event is advertised to include a Halloween-themed quiz, bingo, special drinks, a party and prizes for the best costumes. It also starts earlier in the afternoon, making it a good alternative if you want to enjoy Halloween without committing to a full night out.

Keep in mind that Csepel is outside the central nightlife area, so plan your journey in advance if you are staying in the city centre.

Other Halloween Events to Check Out

There are also a couple of other venues worth checking if you are still looking for something to do over Halloween weekend.

Toldi Klub

Toldi Klub is another option for electronic music lovers. Events listed for the Halloween weekend include TechTúra Halloween on Friday, October 30, and a house-music Halloween night on Saturday, October 31.

If you enjoy underground music and a less conventional nightlife atmosphere, it is worth checking the current listings.

LOCK Budapest

LOCK Budapest also has an event listed as “Felnőtt Halloween” on Saturday, October 31, starting at 22:00.

Check the venue's website for further information about the event, tickets and any entry requirements.

Which Halloween Party Should You Choose?

With so many different events taking place over the Halloween weekend, the best choice really depends on what kind of night you want to have.

  • For a big international party: ISSA Halloween Madness at Akvárium Klub, subject to ticket availability.

  • For dancing and a costume competition: La Siesta Halloween Party.

  • For a themed Friday night: Heaven Meets Hell at Mitico Budapest.

  • For drag performances and a queer-friendly atmosphere: The Gay Halloween Party at Vörös Neon.

  • For a dressier evening with dinner and music: VIBE Budapest.

  • For a proper electronic music rave: Hardcore Halloween Arena.

  • For a more relaxed, earlier event: Gőz Klub Halloween Party.

My recommendation would be to book tickets in advance if you find an event you like. Halloween is a popular weekend for going out, and cheaper ticket tiers can sell out before the night itself.

Also, remember to check the latest event details, ticket availability and any costume requirements directly with the organisers before heading out, as schedules and prices can change.

Planning Your Halloween Weekend in Budapest

If you are visiting Budapest for Halloween, you can easily make a weekend of it. Spend the daytime exploring the city, visiting the main attractions and enjoying the cafés, then head out in the evening for one of the themed events.

The Jewish Quarter is particularly convenient if you want to combine dinner, drinks and nightlife, while events outside the centre may require a little more planning when it comes to getting home.

Whether you prefer a big club night, a creative costume party or a more relaxed Halloween event, there is something to suit different tastes. Just remember to book ahead, plan your transport and, of course, have fun!
